Religion/Philosophy: I have faith in an ultimate being.
I believe that all humans are equal regardless of sex, race, sexuality, religious beliefs, political party, etc. We are all of the same force-the same God (in the scholarly sense, not necessarily Christian). I am currently exploring my religious beliefs-a friend recently described it as a "budding exploration of religion"-I like that.
I love our pillars! I think all environments should be open to diversity of religion and sexuality while promoting clearheadedness. The substance free pillar is the only on I don't agree with wholeheartedly. I believe in moderation and like to focus on the positive benefits that small amounts of some substances can give you-for example red wine is good for the heart. In addition, if the HoS were truly substance free we would have some very unhappy caffeine addicts!
To sum up, I would like to share one of my favorite quotes from the musical Scrooge. "I like life, life likes me, life and I have a mutual agreement!"
